Bachelor in Electrical Engineering (BE) Chisholm Institute of Technology (now Monash University) in Australia.
Professional experience
Graduated in 1986. Commenced working for Yorkshire Switchgear Australia in 1987. Yorkshire Switchgear was acquired by Merlin Gerin in 1989. In 1991 Mr Stocker became National Sales Manager for Merlin Gerin in Australia.
In 1993 after the creation of Schneider Electric in Australia he was General Manager of Low Voltage Business. In 1994 he was appointed General Manager of newly acquired Transformer Company ASET.
In 1997, after a brief stint in charge of New Zealand operations, he was appointed Director of Schneider Electric Pacific Zone.
In mid 2000, he was appointed Director of Schneider Electric Greater China Zone.
