RoHS complianceToward hazardous substances-free productsRoHS is the European directive on Restriction of Hazardous Substances (2011/65/EU). The European RoHS directive requires:No lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ether (flame retardants) above 0.1% and cadmium above 0.01% of homogeneous material in selected electrical and electronic equipments.

It is the case for example in China with the Directive MAPCEIP (Measures for Administration of the Pollution Control of Electronic Information Products) enforced since 1st march 2007.
