                    Energy Leaders’ Education is a unique series of courses, competitions, and initiatives for those who recognize the importance of energy issues, from primary school children through university students to energy professionals.
                    Our global programmes are designed and delivered in cooperation with energy experts and based on know-how developed by Schneider Electric engineers.

                    This web page highlights only a few out of more than 20 programmes offered by Schneider Electric as part of the Energy Leaders’ Education series. Others include internships with Schneider Electric; expert courses at universities; specialized, country-focused competitions and practical training of professionals in developing countries. In addition, we work with universities to create learning laboratories equipped with Schneider Electric products.

                    Education for professionals

                    Energy University™ is a free, online learning programme focused on improving energy efficiency and conservation.
                    It delivers timely, unbiased information from energy experts across multiple industries. Energy University courses discuss real-world solutions and provide practical information on how to make the best use of energy-efficient measurers and qualify for professional education credits from numerous associations.

                    Education for university students

                    Solar Decathlon presented annually by the US Department of Energy is the largest global competition for university teams who design, build, and operate energy-efficient, solar-powered houses. As a sustaining sponsor of the competition, Schneider Electric donates products and engineering services to the event. Visitors can tour the competing houses presented in the Solar Village and learn how energy-saving equipment can help them save money in their own homes.

                    Go Green in the City is an international challenge in which teams of business and engineering students propose ideas for smart energy management solutions. The winners are interviewed for an internship programme or job opportunities at Schneider Electric.

                    The Green Ambassadors programme encourages students who have participated in contests organized or sponsored by Schneider Electric to speak at trade fairs, press conferences, and company events around the world. Green ambassadors receive recognition for their achievements and are offered attractive job opportunities. 
                     
                    The Schneider Electric Energy Efficiency Campus competition in China invites university students to design and build innovative energy efficiency solutions. Schneider Electric provides competing teams with the required equipment and helps launch the winning projects.

                    Innovation Challenge is an annual, open competition in which students from India showcase creative ideas that can make everyday life efficient and easier. Schneider Electric regularly supports the contestants by providing equipment and financing. All finalists stand a chance for an internship at our facilities.

                    The BipBop programme offers education for people at the base of the pyramid. Schneider Electric is committed to spreading access to safe and affordable energy for those who need it the most by training young people in electrical skills. We deliver basic electrical training, courses for diplomas and degrees, and professional coaching for trainers in numerous countries worldwide.

                    Education for children

                    Conserve My Planet sets to educate school children about energy conservation and how to minimize energy use at school and at home. The programme includes practical projects, thorough training, and fun-based learning.
